    Hmm, my comments aren't showing up either, but of course yours are so I'll assume you're receiving my replies... ?

    So you think I'm a bit pale, eh? Almost ghostly in fact? I'll consider dropping a new picture in soon - perhaps one of ME for a change image - but I sort of like the anonymous look. Rather 'metro' in fact.
    Having fun with these silly icons, I don't know what image is supposed to represent but it looks cozy don't you think?

    Ahhh the exotic Bronx! Well, parts of it ARE "like that" and parts aren't. I'm in the picturesque section called Riverdale, where the Hudson and Harlem rivers meet. It *used* to be very woodsy and hilly; now it's overdeveloped (image) but still hilly of course. It still aims to resemble a "village" but those in the know know the difference.

Verbal diarrhoea

I designed this page aiming at myself (or how I like to think of myself anyway) not at all fancy, but calm with a low shock factor and easy to understand. Did I succeed?

But you're probably here to find a bit about the kind of person I am. Well..... things that spring to mind, in order of appearance:
science, maths (have a degree with honours), sewing/embroidery, mother of twin DDs (aged 10), married (been with DH 25 yrs now, married 12), pedant, anal, list-maker (are the latter 3 synonymous?), have wonderful life and continually trying to make it better, ......running of ideas..... I'm not very gregarious, dislike dinner parties, bit of a social hermit that way, reasonably relaxed/easy going (but that's probably cultural, being Australian).

My avatar is my dog - gone over a year now (aged 17), but she was a constant companion. If I was invited anywhere, the assumption was that she came too - it was unquestioned!

I'll get back to this.....
